What is your education in?

Morrisville for BA, then went on the Paramedic school SUNY Health Science Center

20 years as a paramedic


What do you currently do for a living?

Own a HVAC Contracting company that was started by my family, I am the 4th Generation at

Hubbard Heating and Plumbing


What is the best job you’ve had, worst job you've had?

Working as a paramedic was both


Did you play any sports or compete growing up?

Yes, ran cross country and wrestled


What's your favorite running distance and triathlon distance?

Running 10k

Triathlon Olympic distance


How did you find out about CrossFit?

Two ways, middle daughter started and said i had to do it

During covid I watched a lot of mayhem and rich froning videos and thought it was cool


What brought you to Pallas?

I knew some people that were here, specifically Kevin Koehler


What keeps you motivated to keep coming to the gym? 

The gains and the competition is fun. Coming here the first time and seeing Phil and Cathy were here was so much fun, I've known them since I was 10 years old


What’s your favorite and least favorite CrossFit movement(s)?

Favorite: Power Snatch

Least:Bar Muscle Up

Right after BCAA’s, then whatever my wife makes for dinner, but I love a good sirloin.


You are married and have kids, how long have you been married and how many kids, ages?

29 years married

Three daughters: 26, 23, 18

I’d like to be a 46er

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise most people?

That I was a paramedic for 20 years


What advice would you give to someone who is hesitant to start at Pallas?

Just start, everything can be scaled, everybody fails miserably when they start anyway, but start.
